What is the benefit of a Replacement Plan?

Customers can receive a brand new one-for-one exchange for a defective* product with no repairs required.


What does the Replacement Plan cover?

It covers for all electrical and mechanical failure of your product, up to 3 years.


What products are not covered?

Navigation products (GPS), mobile and smart phones, tablets, fax machines, All-In-One / printers / scanners, sewing machines and selected IT accessories (memory cards, card readers, remote controls, power extension cords, HDMI cables, multi-plugs, travel adaptors), water heaters and all other major white appliances. Call us or write to us to find out more about products not covered under our Replacement Plan.


Can I transfer the Replacement Plan to a second owner?

Replacement plans are non-transferrable.


Where can I purchase the Replacement Plan?

Replacement Plan can be purchased in-store together with your product, or within 30 days from the product purchase date or delivery date (whichever is later).


Do I need to provide Proof of Purchase?

Yes, in order to make a claim, you would need to produce your original receipt (proof of purchase) at the store. It is therefore important that you keep these documents in a safe place.


When will my Replacement Plan Warranty coverage start?

Your Replacement Plan warranty coverage will start upon expiry of your product’s original warranty.


How do I make a claim?

Bring your faulty product (and all of its accessories) to the Gain City Store of your purchase for a mechanical and / or electrical defect check by our Gain City staff. Upon verification, a brand new product will be issued in exchange for your defective product. Your Replacement Plan contract will cease upon replacement of your product.


Note: Due to changing tech trends constantly evolving range of products, there may not be a similar product for your exchange. In such cases, Gain City has the right to exchange for a new product of likeness, quality and specifications and may be of lower value than your original product price.
