This Mother’s day, express your love and affection by joining us for an exhilarating upcycling workshop in partnership with Commenhers.

This workshop will not only equip you with valuable sewing skills but also provide hands-on experience with sewing. Make this Mother's Day unforgettable ❤️️

Terms and conditions

  • Participant will receive a $10 Food Voucher on the day of the event, redeemable at Gain City Megastore@Sungei Kadut Level 3 Lucky Cuisine. In the event of no show, the voucher will be forfeited.
  • Participants must be aged 12 years old and above. 
  • Please present your order confirmation for entry to the event.
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Request for change of dates or sessions will not be entertained.
  • Please be punctual for the workshop to run smoothly.
  • In the event that the product is not completed during the session, the workshop facilitators (Commenhers)a reserve the right not to guide participants after the workshop ends. Hence, please do try keep on pace with the workshop.
  • Ticket is not for resale or exchange.
  • Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd may take photographs and/or videos of the voucher holder and use them for advertising, publicity or commercial purposes.
  • Participants voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior, to, during or subsequent pertaining to the actual event, including any personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
  • Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd assumes all rights to confiscate or null this ticket, without liability to make any form of compensation, if the event organiser determines that the voucher holder has breached or attempt to breach any of the conditions under which the ticket was issued.

Commenhers is a substainable fashion brand that aims to make upcyled apparel & accessories a lifestyle for all. Their mission is to make slow fashion more accessible without compromising on style. Since their founding in 2021, all of their products are 100% ethically sourced from reputable recyling companies and donation drives, and handmade with love by local housewives and skilled tailors in small batches.

MORE THAN A SUSTAINABLE BRAND

At Commenhers, they don't just make stylish fashion accessories with upcycled materials, they go above and beyond to empower local communities and ensure that their beneficiaries are paid fair wages for their labour.

 

As of 2024, they have partnered with Adventist Active Centre and Yuhua SewMates from the PAP Community Foundation to give elderly folks, single mothers, and disadvantaged individuals job opportunities through upcycling projects such as this collection with Gain City.

 

Additionally, they have also successfully launched 2 co-sewing spaces with the above-mentioned partners last year to allow their makers a common space to make their products.
