Where is the Group Buy event being held at?

Our Group Buy events are held exclusively at our Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut as the store offers the largest range of products including air conditioners, home appliances, furniture, bedding & more! Everything a new homeowner needs in one place!

What are the Group Buy event timings?

There are 2 timeslots available for Group Buy events: 12pm - 2pm and 4pm - 6pm. Homeowners attending the event must check-in at our Level 4 registration counter (near the shuttle bus pick-up) to receive their exclusive Group Buy Brochure. Once registered, homeowners are welcome to shop till the store closes at 10pm.

I’ve collected my keys, is it too late to participate?

Not at all! You can still join our Group Buy events to enjoy exclusive deals and promotions.

Do I need to register for everyone who is attending the event with me?

You only need to register once if the people who are attending are from the same household

How do I check if my Group Buy slot is confirmed?

You will receive your confirmation via e-mail. If you don’t receive any confirmation by the day of the event, DM us via our Telegram chat t.me/gaincitygroupbuy

How long will the promotions be valid for?

Group Buy Promotions will be activated only on the day that you attend the Group Buy event. We strongly encourage you to place a deposit on the day to lock in the promo prices.

Can you provide a quote for specific products before the event?

We are unable to share promotional pricing before the event. All pricing details will only be revealed on the day of our Group Buy event.

Are in-store promotions stackable with Group Buy deals?

No, Group Buy deals are separate from in-store promotions

Do you have price-matching?

Yes! We price match based on your total amount purchased after Group Buy discounts. Just come back to us with your receipt as well as proof of the cheaper price. Price matching only covers major retailers, including Courts, Best Denki, Harvey Norman, Audio House, Mega Discount, Mustafa, NTUC Fairprice Xtra, Giant and Challenger. If a price match is approved, the matched item will be re-invoiced separately and removed from the original invoice.

How long can I KIV my orders?

You can KIV orders for up to 12 months, with complimentary warehousing, subject to the item still being available at delivery.

What is the minimum deposit required to qualify for the Group Buy promotions?

• General items & Standard Bedding & Furniture:30% deposit.
• Bedding & Furniture (Made-to-Order):40% deposit. Full payment is required up to 3 months before delivery date .

The minimum deposit is required for both the first and second invoices.

How much advance notice should I give for delivery?

• General items: At least 2 weeks notice.
• Aircons: At least 4 weeks notice.

Do you allow partial delivery of my orders?

Yes, partial delivery is allowed. However:

• If the total value of items to be delivered is under $1,500, a$30 delivery fee applies.
• Do note that full payment must be made before delivery.

Can I change items/models before delivery?

Certainly, however the new price of replacement item(s) will apply. Do note that the replacement item(s) must be equal or higher value than the original item.

Note: This is not applicable for certain models. Please double-check with our sales team.

What happens if the KIV model is being discontinued?

The sales team will get in touch if the KIV item is being discontinued. Customers will have several options available including switching to another model or accepting early delivery.

Will my items still be in prime condition if KIV items are being stored for 12 months?

We offer complimentary warehousing for up to 12 months. Rather than holding purchased items in long-term storage, we adopt a continuous inventory refresh approach to ensure that, upon the scheduled delivery date, you receive a newly supplied item directly from our warehouse

What happens if I cancel my invoice after paying the deposit?

• If you cancel one invoice, the 30% deposit from the cancelled invoice can be transferred to the other invoice, provided the value is the same or higher.
• All deposits are non-refundable, even in the case of cancellation.

How do I make payment for the balance invoice?

You can visit any of our Gain City showrooms (payment via credit cards, NETS or cash) or request for an e-payment link (payment via credit card/PayNow)

Can I use the Gain City e-Gift card for Group Buy invoices?

Yes, Gain City e-Gift cards can be used to pay for Group Buy invoices.

Do you offer instalment payment plans?

Yes, we provide 0% instalment plansfor all major credit cards, with tenures ranging from 6 to 36 months. Participating banks and merchants include POSB/DBS, OCBC, Maybank, UOB, HSBC, AMEX & Grab Paylater.

How do I earn the Instant Cash Rebate?

When you spend a minimum of $2,000 on your first invoice (after a 10% discount), you will receive an instant 20% cash rebate, issued in denominations of $20 rebate vouchers.

How do I use the Instant Cash Rebate Voucher?

You can redeem 1x $20 voucher for every $100 spent in-store at Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut. E.g. If the item costs $480, you may redeem up to 4x $20 vouchers ($80) so the final invoice amount is $400

Where can I redeem my cash rebate vouchers?

The rebate vouchers can only be redeemed in-store at Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut. Instant cash rebate vouchers are not available for online redemption.

How long is my cash rebate voucher valid for?

Rebate vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.

Can I use the cash rebate vouchers for IT products, delivery or servicing charges?

The cash rebate vouchers issued during the Group Buy event cannot be used for IT products, delivery or servicing charges.

Is there a limit to how much cash rebate I can use per purchase?

You may use 1x $20 cash rebate vouchers for every $100 spent in a single transaction. This limit applies until your rebate balance is exhausted.

Can I use the Instant cash rebate with other promotions?

No. The instant cash rebate cannot be stacked with other ongoing promotions or discounts at Gain City.

What happens if I lose my rebate vouchers?

Do take care of your cash rebate vouchers as lost, damaged, or stolen vouchers will not be replaced. They are null and void if tampered with or deemed unacceptable by Gain City.

What are the terms for the cash rebate voucher to be valid?

The cash rebate voucher must:
• Be signed by an authorised Gain City personnel
• Be stamped with the date of issuance
• Not be tampered with or damaged
• Be used before its expiry date

Can I transfer the cash rebate vouchers to someone else?

No. The cash rebate vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the recipient.
