The Dyson Airstrait™ Straightener (HT01) in Ceramic Apricot/Topaz features proprietary airflow technology that dries and straightens hair simultaneously, eliminating the need for traditional hot plates and preventing extreme heat damage.

• Air-Only Straightening: Uses two 1.5mm apertures to project high-velocity blades of air at a 45° angle. These converge to create the downward force needed to align and smooth hair as it dries.
• Dyson Hyperdymium™ Motor: A 13-blade impeller spinning up to 106,000rpm to propel 11.9 litres of air per second, generating enough pressure to straighten hair during the drying process.
• Intelligent Heat Control: Glass bead thermistors measure airflow temperature up to 16 times per second to ensure it does not exceed safe styling limits, protecting hair's natural shine. 

Styling Modes & Settings

• Wet Mode: Specifically for styling towel-dried hair with three pre-set temperatures: 80°C, 110°C, and 140°C.
• Dry Mode: Used for refreshing or touching up styles on dry hair at 120°C, 140°C, or a temporary "Boost" for extra heat.
• Cool Mode: A dedicated setting to "cold shot" and lock in the style for longer-lasting results.
• Airflow Control: Two speed settings (low and high flow) for customisable drying intensity. 

Intuitive & Safety Features

• LCD Color Screen: High-definition display that indicates current airflow and temperature settings, as well as maintenance alerts.
• Auto-Pause & Idle Mode: The machine senses when it is not in use and automatically drops to low airflow or pauses entirely after 3 seconds of inactivity to save energy and reduce noise.
• Lock Feature: Slide button to keep the arms closed for gentle root drying or more compact storage.
• PRCD Safety Plug: A Portable Residual Current Device integrated into the plug to test electrical current safety, which is essential for wet-to-dry air technology. 

Maintenance

• Removable Filter: Designed for easy cleaning; Dyson recommends wiping debris from the filter cage once a month to maintain peak performance.
• Cleaning Alerts: The LCD screen will provide specific prompts when the filter is blocked or requires deep cleaning.
