Built into the Ear (3) charging case is a breakthrough dual-microphone system driven by ambient filtering mics. We call it Super Mic. It focuses on your voice and cuts through all other noise (up to 95 dB) for complete clarity on calls and voicenotes¹¹.

Switch to the Super Mic by pressing the 'TALK' button while keeping the charging case close and pointed towards your mouth, we recommend a 5cm distance for optimal performance in loud environments. Hold for quick calls or voice memos, or double tap and release for longer conversations¹⁰.

Inside the case are two MEMS microphones with beamforming technology. They lock onto your voice and tune out unwanted noise, wherever you are¹².

Design

Materially different
A polished metal antenna together with our signature transparent design delivers sleek, offbeat looks, and stronger signal. When you’re not using them, the buds sit sturdy in a formed aluminium case.

Ear (3) has been slimmed down and amped up in performance. The custom-built antenna has been engineered to be incredibly thin at just 0.35 mm, it delivers 15% more power and is 20% more sensitive than anything we've built before, meaning signal is stronger and more stable.

Easy ergonomics
After countless ear scans and rounds of testing, we finessed your fit. The ergonomic stems sit effortlessly in your ear, a venting system reduces pressure, and pillowy silicone tips keep Ear (3) snug, but never tight⁷. Listen all day and feel only your music.

Clearly stronger
We used nano injection moulding to forge the recycled aluminium base of the case and connect it with the transparent lid. This gives you a case that's smooth in the hand, great to look at, and strong enough to keep your buds safe. Super Mic sits just inside, set perfectly to pick up your voice, and protected if ever dropped.

With an upgraded 55 mAh battery in each bud, you’ll enjoy up to 5.5 hours of listening with Adaptive Noise Cancellation on. The case delivers up to 38 hours with no plug required thanks to built-in wireless charging. And when you’re short on time, a quick 10-minute USB-C charge delivers up to 10 hours of playback, so you’re always ready to go.

AI-powered Environmental Noise Cancellation trained on over 20 million hours of real-world audio further filters out sound, delivering your voice without distortions or distractions.

Ear (3) was built with aerospace materials (PMI & TPU) and an upgraded 12mm dynamic driver to create precise and expansive listens. Bass response is up to 6dB stronger, and treble up to 4dB brighter compared to previous generations. Distortion has been cut by using a patterned surround design⁸. Treble is sharper. Bass is deeper. Vocals more resonant. Lock in to a richer, deeply immersive soundscape.

Cut through the noise
Ear (3) recalibrates its Adaptive Noise Cancellation¹ in real time, checking your surroundings every 600 milliseconds and monitoring sound leakage to ensure your audio stays clear and focused anywhere. Everything happens automatically, so you don’t have to lift a finger. When you want to stay aware, Transparency Mode is built in to let you hear what’s happening around you.

Music and films become immersive with Static Spatial Audio, which creates a 3D soundscape that puts you at the heart of your sounds.

Bigger beats
For more weight in your tracks, Dynamic Bass Enhancement locks on to low frequencies and boosts them in real time, adding depth and power to make big beats bigger, while avoiding distortion.
