Product Description
The Kaadas R8 and R9 (R9KFV) are designed to complement each other, with the R8 serving as a slim door lock and the R9 acting as a high-tech gate controller.
Kaadas R8 Rim Lock (Main Door)
The R8 is a compact, "add-on" lock for wooden doors that doesn't require removing your existing handle.
- Access Methods: Fingerprint (up to 20), PIN (10 users), and RFID Card (up to 100).
- Biometrics: Uses a high-speed Sweden FPC sensor for 360-degree recognition.
- Build: Features a slim IML (In-Mold Labeling) surface that is highly resistant to scratches and fingerprints.
- Security: Includes an auto-lock function and a break-in alarm that triggers if the lock is tampered with.
- Emergency Power: Can be jumped via a USB-C port if the batteries die.
Kaadas R9KFV Smart Gate Lock (Metal Gate)
The R9 is a specialized gate lock for HDB/condo metal gates, often considered the "brain" of the bundle.
- 3D Face Recognition: Uses AI depth-sensing to unlock hands-free, preventing spoofing with photos or videos.
- Finger Vein Tech: Offers higher security than standard fingerprints by scanning vein patterns under the skin (ideal for elderly or children with faint prints).
- Dual Sensors: Features fingerprint sensors on both the front and back, making it easy to unlock from either side.
- Built-in Video: Includes a doorbell and video viewer so you can see and speak to visitors via the Kaadas app.
- Rechargeable Battery: Powered by a lithium battery that typically lasts 4–6 months per charge.
The "Dual Sync" Advantage
When paired, these locks use Dual Unlocking technology. Authenticating at the R9 Gate (via face or finger) automatically sends a signal to the R8 Door Lock to unlock at the same time, allowing you to walk straight into your home without a second stop.

After you placed the order in Gain City website and confirmed the payment, our customer service officers will process it within 72 hours. Any order that comes in after 6pm on a Friday, it will only be processed on the following Monday.
We will schedule your delivery when Gain City's Own Fleet or Installation Service is required. However, due to stock availability across our different showrooms, Gain City may require an additional 3-5 working days to get the item ready for your Store-Collection (only applicable to 4 main showrooms) or for shipping out.
Delivery of your purchase may fall within this 3 schemes:
- Agent Delivery: Items require our agents (distributor or principal) to deliver and/or perform basic installation services by the agents, for items such as Ceiling Fans, Cooking Hoods, or Water Heaters. Extra charges may apply for the installation service.
- Gain City Delivery: Items in larger size and weight, and/or require basic installation service provided by Gain City's staff.
- Economy Delivery: Smaller items will be delivered via our appointed 3rd party courier service partner.
- Same Day Delivery: Order(s) placed between 12am to 4pm will be delivered within the same day before 10pm.
Delivery cost does not include installation/dismantling/carrying up or down by staircase. Installation/Dismantling cost and any other 3rd party cost applies separately.

Our policy lasts 8 days. If 8 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and sealed.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
