42nd ANNIVERSARY AMAZING SALE LUCKY DRAW 

 

Terms & Conditions:

The following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to the Gain City’s 42nd Anniversary Amazing Sale Lucky Draw (the “Contest”) to win more than $20,000 worth of Cruise Packages (“Prize”).

Contest Organizer/ Prize Sponsor

  1. This Lucky Draw (“Contest”) is organized by Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd (“Organizer”) and the prizes are sponsored by the Organizer.

Lucky Draw Prizes

5 X 2N KL Cruise for 2 in a Balcony Stateroom worth $2,598 each 
1 X 2N KL Cruise for 2 in a Palace Suite worth $7,998 each    

E-Draw Dates: 

  1. Gain City will conduct e-draws on every Tuesday, at 3pm on the said dates 21 Mar, 28 Mar, 4 Apr, 11 Apr, 18 Apr, 25 Apr 23.
  2. The winners will be announced on Gain City Facebook.
  1. Eligibility
  1. The Contest is only open to all customers who spend a minimum of $100 in a single receipt at Gain City from 13 March – 23 April 2023
    1. Participants must be Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents who are residing in Singapore; and are aged 18 and above.
    2. Participants from entities such as business companies, partnership or sole proprietorship must be legally appointed/or authorised to participate in the draw. In the event of any dispute arising from the said participation, Gain City has the right to disqualify such a winner.
  2. All Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd employees and their immediate family members associated with this promotion are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  3. Qualifying Period for Weekly draws will be cut off every Sunday night at 2359hrs from 13 March – 23 April 2023.
  4. Chances for lucky draw(s) are given based on the amount paid. Each customer is entitled one lucky draw chance with every $100 spent in a single receipt.
  5. Chance(s) to the lucky draw(s) will be removed if order is cancelled or refunded.
  6. Only purchases made during the Contest period are eligible for the lucky draw(s).

2. Contest Period

 

  • The contest period is valid from 13 March – 23 April 2023, both dates inclusive (the “Contest Period”).

 

3. Participation in the Contest

 

  1. The participant will be entitled to 1 Lucky Draw entry for every $100 spent in a single receipt at Gain City outlets or online.
  2. The participant may enter the contest multiple times. However, entries will only be valid and accepted when contest criteria are met in a single invoice/receipt. 
  3. Accumulating invoices to meet contest criteria are not allowed. 
  4. Participants are required to keep the invoice as proof of purchase.
  5. Only purchases made during the Contest period will be accepted.
  6. All outstanding payments must be made in full before collection of the Prize.
  7. The participant who cancels their purchase or terminates their agreement/contract on or before the drawing date will have their eligibility to the Contest entry automatically forfeited.
  8. The Organiser reserves the right in sole discretion to disqualify all entries that do not meet the rules and regulations of the Contest. These include entries submitted with invalid or incorrect information.
  9. Participant affirms the accuracy of all information provided at the time of Lucky Draw (s) entry. Any misrepresentation of any fact or particulars (deemed material by Gain City) shall result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of the prize won.

 

 

4. Conduct of Lucky Draw and Prizes

 

  1. The Lucky Draw (s) will be held at Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd, 8 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, Singapore 569500 on every Tuesday, 3pm from 13 March – 23 April 2023.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to change the date, time, location and the mode of drawing of the lucky draw (s) if deemed necessary without prior notice.
  3. The Lucky Draw (s) will be conducted by any one of the Organizer staff.
  4. One (1) winner will be drawn for each prize. Four (4) ‘reserve winners’ will be drawn to replace the FIRST winner drawn, in the event of any disqualification due to criteria and/or Terms & Conditions not met.
  5. The prize is subject to availability and the Organiser reserves the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute, withdraw, add to or alter any of the prizes offered without prior notice.
  6. The Organiser has the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of the winners shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

 

 

5. Winner Notification and Prize Collection

 

  1. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email, according to the contact number and/or email address stated/or retrieved from customer’s record or provided on the entry submission on the same day of the conduct of the lucky draw (s). The participant will not be declared winner until all verification checks have been satisfied.
  2. Participants for the contest will be contacted on the same day of the draw through the email and mobile number that participants indicated on their customer records and must satisfy all verification requirements before being declared the winner. If a participant cannot be contacted or fails to respond after 3 emails and/or phone calls made by Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd, this participant will be disqualified and another ‘reserve’ winner will be selected. Winner will receive a letter to collect their prize. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd decision on the winner is final and no correspondence will be entertained. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd decision at all stages of the Lucky Draw(s) is final. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained. The participants shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd concerning, without limitation, these Terms and Conditions, the rules, procedures and regulations of the Lucky Draw (s), the award of prize and any other matters relating to the Lucky Draw (s).
  3. The prize is non-transferable and non-convertible to cash. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the prize winning. Prize is subject to availability and the Organiser has the right to substitute any prize for a comparable prize of equal or greater value to be awarded in lieu, subject to any applicable law.
  4. Winner is required to personally attend a prize presentation ceremony on after the draw for publicity purposes. The Organiser shall have the right to request the winner to present his/her identity proof for verification purpose when such winner comes for the prize presentation. 
  5. Winner is required to provide their full particulars, including their full NRIC/Passport/Identification number for the purpose of verification & audit. 
  6. Winner must allow photographs taken to be published in Gain City before the prize is received.
  7. The Organiser reserves the right, in absolute discretion, to reject a prize winner if he/she is unable to fulfil the condition set out in 5.v.

 

 

6. Condition and further information on the Prize(s)

 

  1. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services in cash. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the prize winning.
  2. Prize is valid for redemption during the following period: from now till 28 April 2024, both days inclusive ("Valid Redemption Period").
  3. Bookings are subject to stateroom availability, based on first-come, first-served basis. Please make advance reservation with Resorts World Cruises at least 1 month before the intended departure date.
  4. Winner(s) are required to pay related visa fee, port charges, gratuity and any other incidental charges.
  5. The Organiser will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any additional charges, claims, losses, damage, injury, cost or expenses in connection with and/or arising out of this contest, the redemption or use of the prize.
  6. The decision of the Organiser is final and binding in all matters relating to this contest. No correspondence will be entertained.

 

 

7. Use of Personal Information

 

  1. By participating in this Lucky Draw(s), you agree that Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd may collect and use your personal data, as provided in the customer record, for the following purpose in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our data protection policy: To administer the Lucky Draw(s), including contacting you for the administration of prize in relation to this Lucky Draw(s).
  2. You also expressly consent to Gain City disclosing the personal data provided to its official partners and sponsors, for the purpose of verifying the particulars of winner of the Gain City Lucky Draw(s).
  3. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd will not disclose personal data for any unauthorized purpose nor sell any personal data that it collects.

 

 

8. General Terms & Conditions

 

  1. By participating in this Contest, the participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions that the Organiser may issue from time to time.
  2. By participating in this Contest, the winners agree to participate in any form of publicity for this Contest. The Organiser reserves the right to photograph, video, and/or record the Contest, and publish any participants’ images and details for marketing and promotional purposes relating to the publicity of the Contest and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in the Organiser’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format without having to pay any fee or compensation to the participants.
  3. By entering the Lucky Draw (s), participants agree to be bound by and to comply with the Terms and Conditions. Non-compliance with or breach of any of these Terms & Conditions may disqualify a participant at any stage of the Lucky Draw(s), and any prize won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed.
  4. Participants shall not, without the prior written approval of Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd, neither speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Lucky Draw (s).
  5. The Organiser shall not be liable to any persons in the Contest for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the Contest.
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the Contest and to amend or change these Terms and Conditions at any time for whatever reason and without giving prior notice to the participants. The decision of the Organiser on all matters relating to or in connection with the Contest is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
  7. The participant shall fully indemnify and hold the Organiser harmless from and against any loss, damage, cost, liability or expense (including legal fees), whether direct or indirect, in connection with and/or arising from the Participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  8. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd and/or its affiliates shall not be liable to any winner or customer for any loss, damage and/or injury whatsoever or howsoever caused as a result of the winner/customer’s use and/or enjoyment of the prize.
  9.  In the event of any inconsistencies or discrepancies between the Terms and Conditions and the contents of any flyers, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  10. The Lucky Draw (s), Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The Courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
  11. Promotion is only applicable for selected items, brands and categories. Excluded Brands: Daikin Excluded Categories: Aircon & Bedding servicing voucher and contracts.
  12. Promotion will not be applicable for Traders.
  13. Promotion will not be applicable for ongoing promotions, promotional codes, limited sets, pre-orders and new launch items, extended warranty, PWP extra protection, and delivery fee.
  14. Standard delivery fee still applies per transaction.
  15. Gain City Best-Electric Pte Ltd reserves the right to make changes and amendments on above promotion & promotional codes to these terms & conditions without prior notice.

B. GIFT WITH PURCHASE

 

1. General Terms & Conditions

  • Eligible customers will be entitled one set of 5-pc cookware with minimum spend of $1,200.
  • Combined purchases within the same category are allowed. 
  • Gifts are given on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stocks last. 
  • Promotion is only applicable for selected items, brands and categories.
